United States Risk Management, L.L.C.
Readiness in a Complex Gulf Environment
Clearly, the activities in the Gulf this summer have posed a challenge in responding to environmental, health and safety issues faced by our clients. US Risk Management has been involved in a diverse set of responses to these conditions. This includes a wide range of response efforts, such as performance of Natural Resource Damage Assessments to properties/barrier islands along coastal areas by our wetlands and NRDA specialists, as well as completion of restoration protocols in anticipation of inclement weather in the Gulf of Mexico by our building science and property damage assessments specialists. US Risk Management staff have performed a significant volume of environmental site assessment work to support restoration efforts along coastal areas, in addition to performing community and personnel air monitoring. Safety and industrial hygiene personnel have also been deployed to a variety of areas across the Gulf South in preparation for catastrophic weather and to support our clients on-going operational and site security needs.
