Entergy Corporation Recovery Efforts in Response to Hurricane Katrina
U.S. Risk Management is providing Entergy Corporation with Industrial Hygiene, Safety, and Environmental services in response to Hurricane Katrina. The work performed consists of assessing sites across Southeastern Louisiana to ascertain site hazards and safety for workers. US Risk Management is assessing buildings for mold and black water conditions and designing remediation protocols for future reoccupancy. The company is also evaluating potential hazards from oil releases onto Entergy property, as well as providing full-scale safety support for workers and providing hazard communication to a multitude of Entergy divisions.
